Frequency Medicine

What is a resonating laser and how do they affect the body?

Many modalities such as ultrasound, TENS, electrical stimulation, and even infrared heating elements depend on modulating frequencies to affect the body in different ways. For example, a slow electrical stimulation frequency may be used to reduce pain in a chronically irritated sensory nerve, or a much higher frequency to stimulate muscle for strengthening. In the same way, laser light can be modulated to achieve different effects. The Q-Laser Resonators call these sets of modulation frequencies therapy modes. The modes are programmed into the computers built into the Q1000 and the Q10.
(Read more about the Q1000 Therapy Modes below)

These modes rely on a unique feature of Q-Laser Resonators: the laser diodes and LEDs pulse the light via a soliton wave which delivers the light deep to the tissues. The Q-Lasers’ patented soliton technology is the only therapeutic laser system offering this unique delivery mechanism. The soliton is the waveform. The frequencies of pulsed light (the modulation) are chosen as a result of research from several different disciplines.

Frequency Medicine in Practice

The Shumann Resonance

It has long been known that the corresponding electromagnetic frequency of the earth and the average frequency of the human body have been related to health and healing abilities. Many studies in the past century have measured well-known, successful energy healers and their interactions with their clients. It’s been found that these healers emit an electromagnetic frequency of 8 Hz – the same as the earth’s atmosphere. And during the interaction between the client and therapist, the client will entrain to that same resonance. The "grounding" activities known for centuries by Chi-kung masters seems to support this more recent understanding of the need for a connection to the earth’s frequency. It’s as if the physical body functions optimally when it is in phase with the larger structure of the earth.

Therapy Mode 2 of the Q1000 Resonator seems to have a similar effect. Specifically, through the three-minute cycle it starts at 12 Hz and slows to 8 Hz, slowing the body down and entraining it to the frequency of the earth’s atmosphere. Applying mode 2 of the Q1000 over each adrenal gland for a full three-minute cycle balances the sympathetic nervous system, calming the body and reducing stress.

Pioneers of Frequency Medicine

Research on the therapeutic effects of electromagnetic frequencies has been underway for more than 100 years. The results of this research contribute significantly to the therapeutic effectiveness of the Q-Laser Resonating Lasers reported by clients and customers.

Royal Rife

Royal Rife developed a method to determine the frequencies of pathogens and cancer cells and, through the implementation of canceling frequencies, he was able successfully treat cancer and other diseases by subjecting the bodies of his patients to radio waves corresponding to the pathogens or cancerous cells. Using a polarizing microscope that he designed, he could determine the specific frequency of the pathogen or cell and what frequency destroyed it.

His work was widely published including articles in The Annual Report of the Board of Directors of the Smithsonian Institution and The Journal of the Franklin Institute. Later in his life he corroborated with an electrical engineer, Ray Crane, who developed a frequency device that used electrical stimulation to introduce the frequencies to the body. Rife passed down much of his information to Crane, however, much of his work was lost and there is speculation about whether the modern day Rife Machines affect the body the way the original radio waves or EMF waves did.

Paul Nogier

French Neurologist Paul Nogier developed a system of auriculotherapy to acupuncture points in the ear and used frequencies that he discovered using a pulse test. The frequencies that he recommended were based on the finding that specific body tissues are in resonance with specific frequencies according to their embryologic origin.

According to Dr. Nogier, sickness results when cells, molecules or particles of matter are out of their normal resonance or vibratory pattern. By repeatedly exposing damaged tissue to the normal resonance frequencies associated with that tissue, healing often occurs, sometimes quite rapidly.

Some of his frequencies are similar to the ones listed in the Low Level Laser Users Manual by Dr. Larry Lytle and are similar to what are programmed into the Q1000.

Jack Schwartz

Born Jacob Schwarz in Dordrecht, Holland, in 1924, he distinguished himself as an internationally-recognized authority on voluntary controls of internal states and human energy systems. He was a subject, researcher, and consultant at major biomedical and life science research centers in the United States and Europe. Schwarz lectured and taught extensively, was named in many publications and published nine books.

As a research subject at the Menninger Foundation, he was studied for his abilities to control his body during what would normally be called stressful situations, including putting a long sail-maker's needle through his biceps with no resultant bleeding. Results of tests performed on Schwarz documented his abilities to self-regulate many psychophysiological processes. Schwarz explained that by voluntarily attaining specific brain wave states, he could control the pain of physical trauma, regulate blood flow, blood pressure, and heart rate. Readings charted by an electroencephalograph confirmed that the electrical output of his brain had a different amplitude and voltage than other research subjects. Experiments demonstrated his ability to heal his body within hours after it was injured, and be unaffected by toxic substances injected into his body.

He devoted his life to teaching others how to develop optimal states of health. The frequencies that he generated within his own body to overcome illness during these demonstrations were measured and many of the frequencies used in the Q-series lasers come from this work.

Q1000 Therapy Modes

The Q1000 Multi-Wavelength Multi-Frequency Resonating laser can be programmed with up to seven therapy modes. Mode numbers one through three below are built-in and common to all Q1000s.  For the other four modes there are almost an infinite number of different programs possible. However, as a result of our clinical experiences and requests from our customers, all Q1000s from Integrated Laser Therapies are preprogrammed with the additional modes numbered four through seven below. We include these modes in our all of our Q1000s — including those in all our laser packages and bundles — unless you request a custom, special order configuration.

Some lasers on the market may provide more programs or user-adjustable frequency settings, but the Q1000 and its internal computer allow each photon-emitting device to be controlled independently, each with up to 63 discrete frequencies up to 20,000Hz. Q-Laser therapy modes are much more flexible and sophisticated than possible with user programming.

Mode 1:  Anti-Inflammation and Pain Reduction

Musculoskeletal inflammation, general inflammation, infection. A stimulating mode. I use this for pain relief, acute or chronic injury, over the sinuses for colds, skin lesions, etc.

This is a stimulating mode.

Mode 2:  Unwinding and Relaxation

Enhances grounding. Use over adrenals, occiput and sacrum to normalize sympathetic/parasympathetic nervous systems. Good for preparing the body for unwinding or craniosacral therapy. Also good for precursor to Mode 1 because it calms and opens the tissue prior to stimulating cell regeneration. Can be used for heart conditions and ADHD.

This is an entrainment type mode which gradually calms the area under treatment by starting at an elevated modulation frequency and, over the three-minute treatment period, gradually reduces the modulation ending at the Schumann resonance frequency. By using this mode over the adrenal glands they, in turn, also relax the whole body.

Mode 3:  Organ and Immune System Balancing

Clears pathogens. I use this one a lot for organ balancing with visceral manipulation. I actually have the client supine and place the laser over the organ and unwind with my hands simultaneously from underneath the body. This technique also works well to free stubborn iliopsoas and sacro-iliac joints.

Mode 4:  Nerve Regeneration

I have been getting excellent results with peripheral neuropathies placing the resonator head over the specific area of paresthesia and combining this with the using the 660nm Enhancer on acupuncture points as suggested in the Low Level Laser Users Manual.

From the Mayo Clinic:

"Your nerves provide communication between your brain and your muscles, skin, internal organs and blood vessels. When damaged, your nerves can't communicate properly, and that miscommunication causes symptoms such as pain or numbness."

From The Laser Therapy Handbook:

"The regeneration of damaged nerves is one of the most promising indications for laser therapy. Rapid pain relief is a good verification of the laser effect." Over 20 studies cited.

Mode 5:  Lymphatic Drainage Stimulation

Excellent for moving lymph — Dr. Lytle suggests built-in Mode 3 for lymph clearing in the Laser Users Manual, but I find this one works better. Great for colds, infections, viruses — placing the laser over subclavian area, axillas and groin for 1-3 minutes in each location.

From The Laser Therapy Handbook:

"Laser energy [also] has a regenerative effect on lymphatic vessels, as it has on veins." 14 studies cited.

Mode 6:  5HT Serotonin

Deeply relaxing. Great over temples for 1-3 minutes for sleep disorders and depression. Pain relief. Normalizes the connection of the pain receptors to the central nervous system.

From Wikipedia: The Free Encyclopedia:

"In the central nervous system, serotonin is believed to play an important role in the regulation of anger, aggression, body temperature, mood, sleep, vomiting, sexuality, and appetite. Low levels of serotonin have been associated with several disorders, namely increase in aggressive and angry behaviors, clinical depression, Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), migraine, irritable bowel syndrome, tinnitus, fibromyalgia, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders.

"Various drugs are used to modulate the 5-HT system including some antidepressants, anxiolytics, antiemetics, and triptans. A variety of psychiatric medications affect serotonin levels, including the monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs), atypical antipsychotics, the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), and amphetamines. Recreational substances such as MDA, MDMA, and MDEA also affect serotonin levels."

From The Laser Therapy Handbook:

"Laser therapy increases serotonin levels." Eight studies cited.

Mode 7:  Cosmetic/Skin Mode

Used for all skin condition including acne, blemishes, and scaring. This can also be used as a follow-up to mode 1 treatments to treat rashes.

This is the same mode as mode 2 in the Q10 Resonating Laser but with the additional power and larger treatment area provided by the Q1000.

Soliton Waves

It’s been postulated that cells communicate with each other via soliton waves, that connective tissue communicates with solitons and, that even nerve impulses are a soliton waveform. What makes solitons unique is that, unlike other waveforms, they don’t dissipate over time and distance. Solitons occur in nature as tsunamis and as the sound waves produced by whales and dolphins that allows them to communicate over great distances. Technically, solitons are self-reinforcing waveform packets of energy — in the case of lasers, photonic energy.

Q-Laser Soliton Technology

"By combining two or more laser diodes which are regulated by microprocessors, I have been able to produce controlled solitons, which are then delivered by low level lasers. The nature of the solition wave in my Q-Laser series enables the energy to penetrate deeply into the body without changing or losing its waveform or the information it carries."
